A bronze statue stands in the park

Overgrowth with ivy

No one remembers who it is

A patriot

A traitor

An explorer

A conqueror

An invader

A hero

What difference does it make?

Columbus, Cortes, John Smith, William Penn

It’s all fake. A story not history.

The unknown soldier, he is the patriot.

The man who marches for your rights, he is the conqueror.

The man who acts on those marches, he is the hero.
