A Sonnet for America

Just blindly comply with whatever they say.

Just do what they tell you it will all be okay.

Just let them terrorize, rape, pillage, kill,

They are the authority, you bend to their will.

Just blindly comply like small frightened sheep,

Forgetting that we have the power to keep,

Forgetting the law, the constitution, the masses,

Just do what they tell you or they’ll use their gasses.

They’ll take all your rights while maintaining they can.

They’ll take away your dignity and make you a villain.

So bow down to fake laws, fake cops, fake despots,

Be led by your influencers, trolls, and foreign bots.

It seems you’ve forgotten what it means to be American.

It seems you’ve forgotten about our experiment

They work for us! Not the other way around.

We hold the power. We stand our ground.

We, the People are the rulers here.

We, the People have nothing to fear.
