What does that mean?

We’ve tried it before and

It turned out to be wrong

It turned out to be a sore

That festers and grows.

Gangrenous.


America First!

It sounds good but then

You isolate the country

Allies are distant and

Adversaries emboldened 

Like wolves cornering prey.

Ravenous.


America First!

It sounds good and just

But it’s just a slogan

Not a policy or a creed

It’s just a way 

For extremism to breed.

Roisterous.


America First!

It’s not what you think

It’s not about freedom

Not ideologically sound

It doesn’t fit our values

Our promise, our dream.
